Q: What is Meisei Tools' return policy?

Our products are guaranteed for 90 days against defects in materials and workmanship.

Q: What is the temperature range of the HOT WEEZERS ® and HOT NIFE ™?

Both the HOT WEEZERS ® and HOT NIFE ™ have a temperature range of approximately 300° F to 1,500° F.

Q: How long is the cord on the HOT WEEZERS ® and HOT NIFE ™?

The standard cord length is three feet. Optional cord lengths of four or six feet are available for an additional fee.

Q: What is the voltage of the M-10 and M-20 Power Supplies?

Power supply units are available in 100, 115 and 220 volt versions. Please specify the correct voltage when ordering.

Q: Are the power supplies grounded?

Yes, all power supply units are grounded. Keep in mind however that only the 7 Series HOT WEEZERS ® and 3 Series HOT NIFE ™ hand units are ESD protected.

Q: What is the HOT NIFE ™?

The HOT NIFE ™ is a single blade with the same thermal properties as the HOT WEEZERS ®. The HOT NIFE ™ comes in both ESD (model 3A) and non-ESD (model 2A) versions.

Q: Can HOT WEEZERS ® and HOT NIFE ™ hand units be repaired?

In many cases HOT WEEZERS ® and HOT NIFE ™ hand units can be repaired. Please contact us for an initial phone assessment. If a repair seems viable we will issue an RMA, and once we receive the hand unit we will evaluate it and provide a cost estimate before proceeding with any repair work.
